Stockport Continuing Education Service provides community learning, and vocational skills training for young people and adults in a range of areas including Childcare, ITQ, Horticulture, Hospitality, Customer Service and Leadership and Management. The Service provides access programmes for learners who require additional support to enter employment and/or training, (Entry to Employment). In addition the Service works across a range of Service Providers within the Council to support the workforce development Strategy.
The main purpose of the post is to support the Curriculum Manager ? Skills in the delivery and development of our Learning and Development Awards specifically the A1, V1 and L20 awards.
The successful candidate will have a track record in working with assessor teams and organisations delivering or supporting competence based learning programmes. The candidate will need to be highly motivated and demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills. It is essential that they hold training and assessor qualification at level 3/4 and can demonstrate recent and relevant experience of delivering learning and development awards.
