An fantastic opportunity has arisen to work with the holiday department of an award winning airline based at Leeds Airport!
2008 is a very exciting and challenging time for them as they experience huge growth in the holidays division so flexibility, adaptability and confidence are key in candidates.
Applicants MUST have extensive experience ( 2 years min) in this field and also in the Travel Industry ( Hotels, Travel Agents, Tour Ops or Airlines).
Overall purpose of the role
To support the Marketing Manager of the client and to contribute to and implement the agreed strategy for online marketing. The position will be responsible for managing and developing PPC campaigns and new online opportunities. The position will be involved in developing the Email database and Email Marketing strategy and involved in the on-going development of the website.
Responsibilities
1.To work closely with agency monitoring, maximising and developing of PPC campaigns, online advertising and SEO campaigns
2.Recognising and developing new online opportunities
3.Working with appointed agency to optimise and develop the client's affiliate campaign. Monitor performance, build relationships and plan promotions.
4.Contributing to and managing the email marketing strategy. Developing the email database.
5.Working closely with the product team ensuring that all offers and promotional content is utilised and refreshed regularly on the client's website.
6.Working closely with the marketing team to maximise cross promotions.
7.Supporting Marketing Manager on special projects.
8.Any other duties as agreed. It is acknowledged that the duties attached to all posts require periodic review in the light of prevailing circumstances and that flexibility is necessary to ensure the effective utilisation of human resources.
