COMMERCIAL MANAGER - Permanent Role
The Client, a FTSE 250 company and a leading infrastructure, building and business services organisation with an order book worth over ?9bn and a turnover of ?4bn, is currently seeking a Commercial Manager. The successful candidate will work within broadly defined policies and objectives and have either a professional or academic qualification.
Purpose of Role:
- Professional delivery of sustainable, profitable growth.
- To lead a Commercial Function within the project consistent with Business standards and objectives.
- To assist Supply Chain in the procurement of supplier's/sub-contractors/consultants.
Objectives of Role:
- Assist in the delivery of tenders
- Cash Management
- Maintaining risk management processes and procedures
- Ensure proper and timely notification of Contract
- Preparing accurate and prudent cost analysis
- Budget preparation
- Ensure effective performance management and development of reports
- Assist in the provision of a commercial appraisal of the project for external audit purposes
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Proven track record of success in supporting a major business contract
- In excess of 5 years managerial and/or technical experience
- Member of a Professional Body with Intermediate Level Qualifications as a minimum
