Description:
Our Client is looking for an experienced Project Manager who will lead and manage a portfolio of infrastructure Special Projects.
The main responsibilities will be to:
1.Lead a team and/or deliver portfolio of projects valued from ?100k to ?7m to time, budget and required quality.
2.Review options and define outputs for each project with representatives from client and own organisation.
3.Lead technical elements of tender process for assigned projects.
4.Support commercial negotiations for assigned projects.
5.Work closely with and review program of consultants and contractors.
6.Ensure receipt of relevant technical, safety and planning approvals to implement projects.
7.Identify and actively manage high risk issues on project portfolio including effective/timely reporting to senior management.
8.Proactively manage all stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
Experience in providing new capital or improvement projects onto an operating railway involving one or more of the following disciplines - civil, structural, OHL (750 DC) , Permanent Way, telecoms, rolling stock (light rail ) would be an advantage.
