Description:
Our client are a highly successful Greater Manchester Sixth Form College. They are looking for an Enrolment Officer to carry out student enrolment and induction and to provide administration support, in order to support the raising of retention and achievement of the work based learners within the college.
Main areas of Responsibility:
To carry out student enrolment
To conduct initial assessment
To provide administration support
To ensure learner’s evaluations forms are completed and information collated
Other duties will include:
Carry out enrolment / induction presentations to groups of learners.
Carry out initial assessment and training needs analysis ensuring that eligibility checks are carried out.
Interview, assess and support learners and assist in drawing up individual learning plans.
Carry out learner satisfaction surveys with all learners and collate all information and present to management on a monthly basis.
Carry out exit and destination surveys and collate information.
Assist in analysis of Learner feedback to draw up action plans.
To assist with signposting learners with regards to IAG.
Monitor and report on learner attendance, punctuality and achievement in curriculum areas and organise support if necessary.
Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed to meet all college quality standards and LSC requirements.
To go out and visit learners in their workplace if required in order to complete paperwork and arrange support if necessary.
Person Specification
Education / Qualifications
Educated to secondary level with 5 GCSE’s, grades A to C or equivalent.
At least 2 A-levels or equivalent
Experience
Experience of using Microsoft Office
Experience of working within a work-based learning environment
Skills
Good organisational skills and accurate record keeping
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organisational skills, being able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
