We are currently recruiting for a leading multi-disciplined engineering consultancy, which is looking to make key additions to their Logistics Team. Based from their London office, this global firm also has an impressive presence in over 70 countries worldwide.
The Logistics team has provided some of the most high profile projects within the industry, including some award winning projects. The team has a successful history in delivering comprehensive, holistic project solutions. They are currently looking for a Logistics Consultant.
You will be expected to play a leading role in projects within the logistics business- as stand alone consultancy assignments and as part of the company's service offering.
Project work may take place across a range of sectors - including city logistics, large commercial developments, airports, warehousing & distribution. The role will include
Project and team leadership responsibilities contributing to the overall development of the logistics team, and specific project roles as Specialist Team Leader as appropriate
Project roles may involve development of operational strategy, analysis of business requirements, design of solution concepts and management of implementation - in relation to business processes, handling systems and business systems.
Requirements:
To be eligible to apply for this position you should:
·Be flexible to work within various offices within the UK
·Have an extensive experience of logistical consultancy operations
·Be degree educated or a have a Higher qualification or equivalent
·Be Chartered (IET) or in the process of obtaining Chartership or equivalent
·Be highly motivated and be able to work as part of a team
·Be an excellent communicator, ability to manage people within different skill level
·Have an appreciation of commercial costs and impacts
·Have experience of building client/ customer relationships
